Greenbrier, AR  – First Service Bank is delighted to announce the newest addition to its team, Jesus Orellana, who joins as a vital member of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Department. With a background in banking and a passion for fostering healthy relationships between individuals and their financial institutions, Jesus is poised to significantly impact the bank's BSA initiatives.

Jesus Orellana's journey in the banking industry began as a Teller. Over the course of six years, he demonstrated exceptional dedication and proficiency, leading to various roles within the BSA Department. His last position at Centennial Bank was as the KYC Due Diligence Team Lead, where he further honed his skills in ensuring compliance and safeguarding the bank against illicit financial activities.

In his new role at First Service Bank, Jesus will collaborate closely with the BSA Officer to enhance and expand the bank's BSA Department. The dynamic and ever-changing environment of BSA operations excites him, as it presents opportunities for growth and innovation.

Born in El Salvador, Jesus Orellana now calls Conway, Arkansas, his home. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas, and two professional certifications, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and Certified Know Your Customer Associate (CKYCA) from the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS), reflecting his dedication to professional growth and development. Outside of work, he is an active member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and finds fulfillment in contributing to his community.

Reflecting on his inspiration in banking, Jesus shared, "I believe that every person deserves to have a healthy relationship with their financial institution. Being in the BSA Department allows me to witness these relationships flourish while also playing a crucial role in protecting our institution."
