First Service Bank Appoints Philip Shell as Mortgage Department Manager and Senior Mortgage Loan Officer

LITTLE ROCK, AR – First Service Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Shell to the position of Mortgage Department Manager and Senior Mortgage Loan Officer. Philip brings over 31 years of extensive experience in mortgage lending to his new role, where he will lead a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional mortgage services to customers.

Philip Shell's career at First Service Bank began six months ago when he joined as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer. In this capacity, he originated mortgage loans and construction loans for individuals and families, making a significant impact on the bank's mortgage lending operations.

In his new dual role as Mortgage Department Manager and Senior Mortgage Loan Officer, Philip will lead a team of mortgage lenders, processors, closers, assistants and construction specialists. He will be responsible for ensuring superior customer service and outstanding outcomes for mortgage customers while driving growth in both the markets First Service Bank currently serves and new markets within Arkansas.

Philip Shell, a Conway, Arkansas native, currently resides in Little Rock with his wife, Leah Lasley Shell. They have two children, John and Rees, who live in Fayetteville and Russellville, respectively.

Philip holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Hendrix College (1992) and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas (2008). With 31 years of experience in the banking and mortgage industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role.
