First Service spotlights Christine Katzenmaier

It’s all about family for First Service banker Christine Katzenmaier.

“What I enjoy most about my work at First Service Bank is that we are all treated as one big family within the bank,” she said. “Not only are we treated as family, but our customers are treated as family as well.”

Christine, who joined the bank in November 2020, works as a universal banker at the Flippin location of First Service. “My current responsibilities include running transactions – such as withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, cashing checks, opening and closing accounts and answering phone calls.”

Born in North Central Iowa, Christine moved to Arkansas in 2012. She lives in Gassville (Baxter County) and is “a busy mom of three very energetic boys.” Her hobbies include cooking, baking and spending time with her children.

Christine sought a position at First Service at the urging of another employee. “My current manager, Roberta, drew me to First Service Bank. I was working at a local convenience store at the time. Roberta came in one day and told me there was a position open with First Service and that I would make a great candidate and should apply. I was offered the position about two months later. It was the best decision to join First Service Bank!”

First Service Bank, with its headquarters in Faulkner County, has been in operation for more than 60 years and has locations in Clinton, Conway, Dermott, Flippin, Greenbrier, Little Rock, Mountain View, Shirley, Yellville, and a new location coming soon to Maumelle.
