First Service spotlights Angel Hammond

For Angel Hammond, it is the “hometown feel” that led her to First Service Bank.

“I saw that it was a local bank and I felt that it would have more of a hometown feel,” Angel said of her decision to join First Service Bank. “I love coming to work and the family-feeling.”

Angel is a care center specialist and trainer at First Service Bank. She serves as a video teller, handles online banking and bill pay needs, and trains new associates.

“I love this job and my customers,” she said. “I have built relationships here that I will never forget'.

Angel, who has worked at First Service for four years, has 20-plus years of experience in restaurant management. “I chose banking because I thought it would be a great opportunity,” she said.

Born in Conway, Angel lives in Springfield with her husband of 20 years, Don. They have two sons, six granddaughters and a grandson. “I love spending time with my family,” Angel said, adding that she also enjoys karaoke and collecting Elvis memorabilia.

Angel said she is proud to be an associate at First Service Bank, which is committed to customers, communities and employees. “I have never worked anywhere that treated their customers and employees so well,” she said. “First Service Bank is the best place to work!”
